I like this. Perhaps it tells a story I don’t know?

hey kirk, i like the idea of an image telling a story haha.. maybe this one could involve unrequited love, the sun being put up for sale and a cowboy falling off his horse 😉 😉

The cowpoke is pretty close to her mouth and getting closer and she looks pretty hungry. There might be a story here alright…

Nothing special from the first sight but definitely something that makes you think, feel and remember it for some reason. Thanks)

  5. Isn’t that near Veronica Lake? I like the rising (setting?) sun particularly.

    • Hello, Fig says:

heheh my veronica lake picture didn’t work quite as nicely as Katharine 😉 couldn’t figure a way to get the sun behind the trees, but yep i think the colours blend pretty well. thanks daniel 😀

      • Re putting things behind things: I run into this issue a lot in my work. (I mostly use PS.) It basically has to done manually although there are some tricks you can use depending on the specific images involved.

      • Hello, Fig says:

sure, yep.. i don’t have photoshop 😦 with this one it was either stick the ‘sun’ on top of the trees and have a slightly childlike feel, or risk mutilating the whole thing.. anyway glad you like it daniel! some nice new photos up on yours 🙂

The cowboy is searching for the goddess hiding in the lake and I wonder if he’ll ever find her ~ that’s the story I’ve come to finally recognize in this amazing piece…

    • Hello, Fig says:

      • Rawclyde! says:

Thank you, Ben. But I can’t find the goddess anywhere! Do you think, maybe, she might still be in the lake?

      • Hello, Fig says:

hmmm it’s difficult to tell, raw.. maybe keep searching.. dredge that lake! or errrrr, something 😉 haha hehehe hahaa 😀
