Do you only use a computer or do you find images in magazines to collage with?

    • Hello, Fig says:

hey vincent, all the images on here are handmade and then scanned on. i guess some have a digital look cos i saturate the colours sometimes.. happy weekend 🙂

Love this collage. I have the same technique as you. All my collages are cut-and-paste. I then digitally manipulate them, often saturating the colours.

Incidentally, I have nominated your blog for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award (really hope I’m doing this right… Still a bit naive about this kind of thing…).

More about this nomination is at:

Your work is always a pleasure Fig, have you ever heard of Hannah Hock? Her work is from early 1900’s, maybe more around 1920. However she used photography for collage, possibly montage..i love her work , and many of your works remind me of hers, with a fresh twist of course.

    • Hello, Fig says:

hey adele, i’d heard the name before.. just googled. love those early dada things. the way she constructed her faces was great; thanks for the compliment! [your photos look fantastic btw] 😀

Gee thank-you so much fig, sorry about the late reply. I haven’t logged in for a while, its not a lack of interest, just a lack of available time unfortunately. I’m hoping a day will come when time becomes more available.

      • Hello, Fig says:

time is our most precious commodity.. did someone famous say that in a film idk 😉 😀

      • adelemiranda says:
